Donna Siegel Moffa serves as counsel to the Firm.  Throughout her career, both in private practice and in her early years as an attorney in the Bureau of Consumer Protection at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., she has concentrated her work in the area of consumer protection litigation.

Donna has substantial experience handling and supervising all aspects of the prosecution and resolution of national class action litigation asserting claims challenging predatory lending, lending discrimination, violations of RESPA, real estate fraud, consumer fraud and unfair and deceptive acts and practices in federal courts throughout the country.    In addition, Donna has been involved in a wide range of administrative and regulatory issues including labeling and marketing claims, compliance, FOIA and disclosure obligations, employment matters and rulemaking proceedings.

Donna also has been involved in significant appellate work, in both state and federal appeals courts. She has represented individuals, classes, and non-profit organizations participating as amici curiae, such as the National Consumer Law Center and the AARP, in appeal proceedings. In addition, Donna has addressed consumer protection and litigation issues in presentations to consumer groups, organizations, and professional associations.

Community Involvement

Donna has been involved in The Cathedral Kitchen in Camden, NJ for over twenty years, first as a volunteer and, for the last nine years, as member of the Board.   She is currently President of the Board, a position she has held since January 2013 and which will end in 2017.  The mission of the Cathedral Kitchen is to provide essential life services that support the health and well being of those in its community and, in doing so, to affirm each person’s humanity and dignity while guiding them towards self sufficiency. The Cathedral Kitchen serves over 300 hot meals onsite six days per week; provides dental, health and social services; and operates a culinary arts training program.  Additionally, the organization recently completed construction on a new building with a commercial kitchen from which it now fulfills 1600 contract meals a day for local shelters, operates a café and plans to provide additional culinary classes.
